This is another group of Australians who are likely to be severely affected by the release of the Koi Herpes Virus. There are large numbers of Koi keepers around Australia and you can just imagine how people like Dog and Cat owners would feel if the Government release a new and deadly airborne virus aimed at killing feral dogs and cats. It is always easy to distance oneself from something that does not affect us but not so much when you are a pet owner yourself who can relate to the emotions experienced by fellow pet owners.
